The rear wheel is on the bike, unable to upload a new photo at this time.For sale in as is condition is a 2001 Suzuki JR 80. It is a air cooled, oil injected 2-stroke, with 5 gear and clutch.The bike runs but does need some work and TLC. It has been sitting for several months or so. The rear plastic fender is a little cracked but all there. I cleaned the carb and the gas tank, put fresh fuel and plug in and it started right up. The motor is strong and has great compression.Here are the concernsI was going to replace the chain and sprockets. Suzuka Eight Hour capers
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released
Wed, 18 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
