2000 suzuki tl1000r.. needs inspection, oil change and possibly a new battery. Runs good, has a few minor scratches. The seat started to dry rot/crack this past summer. Have only put about 5k. miles on it in the past five years. Have a family and don't gwt to ride much.. if interested I also have 2 helmets and 3 jackets that I would sell along with the bike. Has just under 20,000 mis on it. I was told I'm the 2nd owner. Has a power commander on it, not sure how its tuned but the bike is super fast. Not recommened as a beginner bike. John Hopkins Ready for Comeback
Sat, 08 Feb 2014When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.
Volkswagen Buys 20 Percent Share in Suzuki
Fri, 11 Dec 2009Months of rumors and a more credible report yesterday have culminated in the official news that Volkswagen will take a 20 percent share in Japanese automaker Suzuki, worth $2.5 billion. Volkswagen has its sights set on becoming the world’s largest automaker and with Suzuli’s small-car expertise, it hopes to make a large expansion into developing markets, like India. The news comes just a day after VW officially took a 49.9 percent stake in Porsche.
