1983 Suzuki XN85 Turbo
Number 102 out of 1,153 ever built. 300 of them came to the US, out of those only 150 of them were sold, and the rest were sent back to Japan. So there are less than 150 of them left in the states. This is a one owner 100% original bike. It still has the Original title, Registration papers, and License Plate from 1983-84! Bike recently went through a full service and tuneup to get back on the road. Here is a list of some of the things that were done: Drill Screw M/C Bleed Flush System Repair Stuck Throttle Body Oil & Filter Change Flush Fuel Injection System Remove/Replace Injectors/Manifold Research Pump/Filter Retrofit Aftermarket Pump/Filter Clean Tank Clean Repair Petcock/Fix Leak Dissasemble Injectors Machine Clean Locate No Start Trace No Ignition Trace No Fuel Pump Trace ECU No Signal 30 Plus Circuits Repair Flashing Fuel Gauge Parts: Fuel Injector O'rings/Seals New Battery New Oil Filter Master Cylinder Screws 10/40 Oil Semi Synthetic Reostat Fuel Gauge New Fuel Pump New High Pressure Filter Low Pressure Fuel Hose 2ft High Pressure Fuel Hose 2ft Might be some more that I forgot to list. Bike runs and rides great, and the motor is extremely strong, and does not smoke at all. There is a slight hesitation is you crack the throttle, but if you are smooth it revs very nicely. I couldn't ride it as fast as I wanted on the old tires though, and I didnt want to push too hard on a motor thats been sitting for over 30 years. Everything on the bike works as it should except for a couple things on the dash. The fuel gauge doesnt move, but can be adjusted to read whatever you like. Also the engine temperature gauge doesnt seem to move. The cosmetics on the bike are 9.5+ out of 10 in my opinion, but you can see for yourself in the photos. NONE of the photos are edited or enhanced in anyway! Seat is in excellent shape with zero tears or rips. There are some VERY light scratches and tiny paint chips on the bike, that I tried to show in the photos, they aren't noticeable unless you are looking for them. Bike comes with the Original tool kit in its original bag, however the little metal button on the bag is missing. The only eyesore on the bike IMO is the plastic on the mirrors. The bike is a time capsule, and if you need anymore photos of the bike just ask. It wont let me upload more than 24 of them. You can also text/call or message me on here if you have any other questions. Here is your chance to own the RAREST of the Japanese Turbos that "Motorcyclist" magazine proclaimed the best handling bike they had tested to date. Bike is sold AS-IS with no warranty or claims of any kind. This is a 30+ year old motorcycle, and you are responsible for having the bike inspected before purchase and or riding the bike. I require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fee's, I will do my best to assist any way I can. Here is a walk around video of the bike.

Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion.
