Suzuki Other description

I have a 1976 Suzuki GT250 for sale.  I bought this motorcycle a few weeks ago as a non-running bike.  Since I have owned it I have cleaned the carburetors and replaced the spark plugs.  With those 2 things, the bike now runs and rides as it should.  It starts right up on the first or second kick every time.  It has pretty decent power for a little 250.  You have to wind it up a little bit, it really doesn't start making power until about 3,000 RPM but it's a fun little bike to ride.

All of the lights and signals on the bike work like they're supposed to.  The neutral light on the tachometer is the only light that doesn't work.  Overall it's a 35+ year old original bike that hasn't been restored, it shows some wear and tear from being ridden over the years, but overall in good mechanical shape.  The paint by the gas cap on the left side has come off and there are some chips on the left side of the tank as well, see the pictures to see this.  Both of the side covers are in good shape, without any cracks.  From what I can tell, the only thing that is missing are the mirrors.  Please look at all of the pictures to see the exact condition.

I just went to the BMV to have the title transferred to my name and should have it in a few days.  Like many of the old bikes, the mileage on the title will state exempt or not actual.

All shipping is to be arranged by the buyer.  I can help with making sure I'm available to meet with the shipper so they can get the bike, but I will not arrange any of the actual shipping.

A $100 deposit is due through PayPal within 24 hours of the auction end.  The remainder of the payment will need to be paid with a cashier's check, money order, or wire transfer.

Email with any questions.

Suzuki Concludes MotoGP Test At Phillip Island

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

The Suzuki MotoGP team concluded its three-day test at Phillip Island in Australia today after rain and less-than-perfect track conditions hampered much of the progress the riders and technicians hoped to make. Test rider Randy De Puniet was joined by Voltcom Crescent Suzuki World Superbike rider Eugene Laverty for the first two days; unfortunately suffering a crash early on the first day due to the slippery and damp conditions. However the Irishman was able to complete 37 laps yesterday despite inclement weather that halted much of the testing on every day; and which included a large amount of geese on the circuit obstructing every session.
