Suzuki Other description

Up for auction is a 1974 Suzuki TM250 Champion dirt bike. This model Suzuki helped pioneer the dirtbike industry into what it has become today! The bike is in good condition for its age but does need TLC to be track ready. It has been in storage for several years but still fires right up after putting gas in the tank. However, the petcock has a large leak that will need to be repaired prior to use. The engine is in good condition with strong compression, good clutch and shifts threw all gears properly. All chrome is in good condition for its age with little to no rust. The tires hold air but should be replaced due to age. The frame is straight with No cracks, bends or repairs that I can see. The plastics are intact and do show signs of age. The seat looks like it was re-upholstered in the past and in good useable condition. Overall, this is a good bike in good condition for its age but will need TLC and minor repairs to being track ready. Excellent candidate for restoration. Sold with Bill Of Sale only.

Turbocharged Suzuki Recursion Concept Announced for Tokyo Motor Show

Tue, 29 Oct 2013

Of the Big Four Japanese manufacturers, Suzuki has been the most stagnant in recent years as it tries to recover from the economic downturn, offering fewer product updates and new models than Honda, Kawasaki or Yamaha. Suzuki now appears ready to innovate once again, first new products including the V-Strom 1000 and the new Burgman 200 scooter. But there’s more on the way.

Revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the Recursion, along with Kawasaki’s supercharged inline-Four engine herald a return to forced induction motorcycles last commonly seen in the ’80s. According to Suzuki, the Recursion’s 588cc parallel-Twin engine with an intercooler turbo produces 99 hp at 8000 rpm while also claiming 74 ft-lb.

2014 WSBK – Sepang Results

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.
