Suzuki Other description

1973 Suzuki TS185 in mostly original condition. Some upgrades have been done, like all the turn signals are new from Suzuki. It has other replacement parts bought from the factory, or as new old stock from around the world. New speedometer, tachometer, headlight (which is very hard to find), fuel tank strap by the seat, another hard to find part. Clutch, brake, and shift levers are new. I replaced the tires with quality dual purpose tires, as well as the tubes, and tube liners. I have a box with old parts that were worth saving, including the original tires and tubes, which will go with the bike. I have an extra set of brand new turn signal lenses, and a chrome piece for the forks. With a little more effort it could be in collector's condition. Comes with factory owner's and repair manuals. Title says 7300 miles, but since I've had it, I've put 209 miles on the bike, and on the new speedometer. Runs great. Starts on first or second kick. Clear title. Currently registered with an antique plate and ridden on the street.

Suzuki Burgman 400 Long-Term Wrap-Up

Wed, 12 Aug 2020

There’s really not that much to wrap, frankly. It’s been mostly drama-free. The Suzuki Burgman 400 entered my fleet in mid-March with just 70 miles on the clock, and now sits at 731.

GSX-R600 long-termer update

Mon, 18 Oct 2010

When MF asks me if I fancy riding the Visordown test GSX-R 600 for a bit, I hesitate for about a millisecond before accepting. Why? ‘Cos my own courier’s favourite Diversion 900 may be heavy and utterly unexciting, but it is also a comfortable and trusty commuter ride that suits the Smoke very nicely, thanks.

John Hopkins Ready for Comeback

Sat, 08 Feb 2014

When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.
