Suzuki Other description

Up for auction is a 1972 Suzuki TS400J "Apache". This the first year for this model. I have just completed a frame-off restoration on it,and it looks great. The frame was powder coated "Trail Performance" and the head and exhaust was "ceramic"coated. The wiring and all nuts and bolts were cleaned and polished. The seat has been recovered and a new chain installed. The carb was cleaned and a new throttle cable installed. "Suzuki" mirrors were found and added on . The paint is new on tank, fenders, and side covers done by "Steve Rhoades Paint". The headlight does work, but only on low beam. The exhaust tip "Stinger" is missing, but I do have a new exhaust gasket and clamp for it. (If anyone has one to sell , let me know! I would gladly purchase it.) The head gasket was also replaced. This bike also has the "Original" tool kit , but no owners manual. I purchased the bike from the second owner who had owned it for 15 years. The buyer is responsible for any pick-up arrangements. I can help on this end some , but will not crate the bike. Im sure Im forgetting something so if you have questions feel free to email me or call me at (402)990-2542. Thanks for looking!

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.

University Of Calgary Team Zeus To Compete In eMotoRacing Event At Miller Motorsports Park

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

eMotoRacing will hold it’s eighth race of the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. Though there has been a great stirring of rumors as to who will be in attendance, one thing is certain — there will be a good mix of contestants, including the official Brammo racing team, and Team “ZEUS” of the University of Calgary. “ZEUS” stands for “Zero Emission Ucalgary Superbike,” and the team is comprised of engineers, business and physics majors. The team will be racing their Generation I bike, which uses an Agni 95-R motor mounted to the frame of a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600, which was straight from the factory, and then stripped of its gasoline engine components.
