Suzuki Other description

I just today acquired this 1972 Suzuki RV90 with a small group of other bikes I purchased. It has 3,499 original miles on it. According to the family of the last owner, it last ran about five years ago. The two-stroke motor does turn over with the kick starter - its not 'stuck'. Bikes that have been stored for long periods generally need at least a carb cleaning and fresh battery to get running again. THE GOOD: It's all original, as you can see. It's decent but dirty, a true barn find. It has a PA title correctly signed by the original owner - and notarized - in 1979 - the second owner rode it on his property and never titled it. The original tool kit is still under the seat. THE BAD: the last owners son apparently attempted to change the spark plug and stripped the threads, so it may need a used cylinder head (one sold on ebay recently for $20). The taillight is broken and a chunk missing from the front fender. The seat is ripped up and needs a new cover. The seat pan is solid. If you're interested in bidding on this bike, please read all of the following because by pressing the 'BID' button you are agreeing to all of the following:

This bike is for pickup only here in Barrington NJ zip 08007 (10 minutes from Philadelphia, close to exit 3 of the NJ Turnpike). Payment in full is expected within four days of auctions end; in cash if you pick it up yourself or by bank money order if you're arranging a shipper. If you want to use a shipper that's fine, you make the arrangements. I think its reasonable to expect a purchased bike to be picked up with 14 days of auctions end, so if you're arranging shipping please begin that process BEFORE auctions end. Some of my customers use uship.com for inexpensive bike hauling.
