Offered for sale is one one of the finest GT750's around. This is the first year model of the first water cooled motorcycle. The electric and kick start works perfectly on this beautiful 2 stroke triple. Everything is original except the paint and mirrors. Original paint scheme is stunning. This is a one owner bike that came out of Oklahoma. She runs excellent. The original headlight bucket and turn signals remain on the bike. What else can I say? The two stroke sound and smell really take me back. Everyone looks and smiles and gives the thumbs up. Everyone wants to ride her but don't you let them! I've priced her low to leave the next guy some room. All 4 exhaust cones and seals come with the bike. What would you rather have? A new Shadow 750 or this? Pretty easy to answer I think. Suzuki Forecasts 9% Increase in North American Sales in 2011-2012 Fiscal Year
Thu, 23 Jun 2011Suzuki Motor Corporation released its forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2012, predicting a 9.4% increase in worldwide motorcycle unit sales including a 9.0% increase in the North American market. The fiscal forecast, delayed from Suzuki’s previous quarterly report in May because of the uncertainty caused by the March 11 earthquake, paints a positive picture for the current fiscal year. Suzuki forecasts sales of about 55,000 units in North America, an increase from about 50,000 units sold the previous fiscal year.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results
Tue, 21 Feb 2012Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.
1974: Onboard an MV racer with Phil Read
Fri, 19 Feb 2010ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.
