 BIKE HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR ABOUT 25 YEARS-PREVIOUS OWNER PARKED IT UPON RETURN FROM A ROAD TRIP TO THE TETONS..GAS TANK WAS DRAINED AND PLACED IN DRY STORAGE-BIKE IS ALL ORIGNAL IN MY OPINION .I HAVE NOT THE DRIVEN THE BIKE-BUT BIKE HAS GREAT COMPRESSION AND SPARK  125 LBS EACH CYLINDER--I DID HOWEVER PUT A FEW SHOTS OF MIXED GAS IN SPARK PLUG HOLES FIRED RIGHT UP WITH ELECTRIC START-EVERYTHING MOVES FREELY-BUT BIKE HAS A FEW COSMETIC FLAWS TEAR IN SEATAS SEEN IN PICTURE-MISSING THE GAS TANK EMBLEMS-A FEW SMALL DINGS IN THE GAS TANK..BIKE HAS GREAT ORIGNAL EXHAUST /WITH ALL 4 BAFFELS IN THE END OF THE PIPE.VERY COOL LOOK..I HAVE NOT GIVEN THIS BIKE A COMPLETE DETAIL,  BUT THE AREAS I HAVE CLEANED UP LOOK AMAZING -VERY NICE CHROME-RIMS FENDERS ETC. THIS BIKE IS A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR RESTORATION-AND WILL NEED THE USUAL CARBS CLEANED  AS WELL AS THE GAS TANK-NO RUST BUT A DIRTY FILM--IM LOCATED IN FOLEY MINNESOTA 56329-I HAVE A GREAT SHIPPER THAT WILL BRING THIS BIKE ANYWHERE IN THE U.S VERY REASONABLE..PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL OR CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS THANKS MIKE  320-420-7675

I AM ADDING TO THE DESCRIPTION TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL FLAW..I HAD CONTINUED DETAILING THE BIKE  TODAY . BUT THE LEFT SIDE COVER WAS VERY DIRTY FROM BEING IN STORAGE .AFATER I CLEANING I DISCOVERED  THE COVER HAD SOME ROAD RASH  .I SEE NO OTHER AREAS THAT WERE AFFECTED . I BELIEVE THE BIKE RAN CLOSE TO A CURB AND SCRAPED THE COVER,,ALSO WHEN CLEANING THE PIPES I NOTICED A SMALL ,SCUFF DENT IN THE EXHAUST PIPE  ..  AFTER NOTICING THE ITEMS I WAS GOING TO RESTART THE AUCTION JUST TO BE FAIR  .  BUT I FEEL ITS EARLY ENOUGH IN THE AUCTION TO CONTINUE..I CONTACTED TWO VINTAGE PARTS PEOPLE THE WILL  LET ME KNOW ABOUT A REPLACMENT COVER.. OTHERWISE I FOUND SEVERAL ON EBAY  FROM USED TO  NEW OEM FOR AROUND $65.. I WOULD BE WILL TO COMPENSATE THE BUYER  FOR THIS FOR THIS OVERSIGHT;;PLEASE LOOK AT THE ADDITIONAL PICTURES THANK

Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.

Suzuki is the latest company to trickle out bits of info about its upcoming new model, in this case, numerous teaser images of what looks to be the 2012 V-Strom. The biggest unknown at this point is what Suzuki has done to the old DL650’s V-Twin engine.
