1997 Suzuki Intruder VS800 (1997)
Nice clean low mileage Suzuki Intruder VS 800. Custom ghost flamed tank very subtle. Very sharp candy red paint with a couple of minor chips but no dents on tank or fenders, decent saddlebags, Boulevard windshield, Halogen headlight upgrade, Highway Hawk forward controls, New large diameter Mac exhaust with rejet kit. New Kuryakyn ISO Grips with throttle assist, New front tire, tune up and fluids as well as new parts all done in the last year or less than 1000 miles. The rear tire is great and did not need replacing or I would have done that too. Brakes are good and have been checked in the same time frame. This bike is ready to ride for Biketoberfest. She is wicked fast, great handling and a blast to ride. The Harley that replaced her would never catch this bike. All removed parts for the addition of the Forward controls, new headers, and the removal of the front roll bar will come with the bike if you are short enough not to need the forward controls. They are a 500.00 upgrade and could be resold for a nice price if you do not need them. I am 5'11 and they make a much more comfortable ride for any distance. An extra set of mirrors also comes with this bike. Bike is represented to the best of my abilities and is sold as is where is with no warranties expressed or implied. 2000 Suzuki Intruder VS800 cruiser motorcycle; this is a great bike for a good price. Fun to ride, smooth operation, and a low center of gravity makes easy handling in the curves. Duel carbureted engine runs great and sounds impressive with the tuned modified air intake for each cylinder. Just mounted brand new tires and replaced the battery. For a bike that is a 2000, it looks like a million bucks with all of the chrome but does have a few minor cosmetic scratches and minor surface corrosion on a few spots. Bike has never been wrecked. I have a clean and clear title in hand. 19226 miles on the odometer. Absolutely ready to ride and would make a great first bike or a cheap cruiser for riding around on. This bike is in EXCELLENT condition with no problems, and has LESS than 15K miles on it. I've babied this Suzuki VS1400 Intruder; and it's always been kept in the garage. Last year, I spent $1,000 to have the front end raked out with extended forks, mini ape-hangar handlebars, saddle bags, and semi-loud pipes. This spring, I spent $700 at Prattville PowerSports having a complete tune up, new starter, and carburetor rebuilt. The only issue this bike has is a couple of dents on the gas tank (you can see in the photos), but there's no rust on the dents. I bought it that way 5 years ago and just never got around to fixing them. This year, I bought a gallon of auto-body filler ("bondo"), but since I've never done any "body work," I was too chicken to try to fill the small dents, then give it a new paint job. I'll give you the new gallon of filler and wish you luck. :^D The wife says I have to sell it. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. New AMA Pro SuperBike Final Qualifying Procedure To Be Implemented At Road America

This new format will debut later this month when AMA Pro Road Racing takes to the 4.05-mile track at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., for the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader on May 30 – June 1, 2014. All AMA Pro SuperBike competitors will participate in Qualifying 1 and 2.

Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200
Fri, 16 May 2014Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.

The Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) offers two different launch modes programmed to improve acceleration. The two modes adjust ignition timing to suit different starting conditions.

Both smaller motocrossers return unchanged, though the slightly larger RM85L variant was not announced for the new model year. The 2015 Suzuki RM-Z250 retains the same 249cc liquid-cooled Single as the 2014 model including the swappable EFI couplers for selecting richer or leaner fueling.

John Hopkins British Superbike Round 2 Rundown
Tue, 06 May 2014The Tyco Suzuki team is looking ahead to next week’s International North West 200 after a tough weekend at Oulton Park during round two of the British Superbike Championship. American John Hopkins took ninth place in Monday’s second race at the Cheshire venue after retiring from the opening encounter in the closing stages due to a problem sensor, which caused an intermittent misfire on his Tyco Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike. His team-mate Josh Waters took a brace of 13th-place finishes for his Oulton Park efforts and despite his obvious disappointment, the Australian did significantly improve his lap times from his visit in 2013.
