Great bike for a beginner or for someone experienced looking for something flashy and clean to catch some attention on the road. Lots of chrome! Looking to send it to a good home. This bike is in EXCELLENT shape and runs great. Credit for its strong acceleration and low-end responsiveness goes to its liquid-cooled powerplant. Has always been well maintained and serviced. Has been inspected by a local bike shop and given a big thumbs up. Clean title. Starts and runs great. This bike is awesome, and the price is an absolute steal. Wed, 13 Mar 2013Michael Jordan Motorsports revealed its racing livery for its 2013 AMA Superbike Championship Suzuki GSX-R1000 racebikes. The 2013 racebikes will sport a wavy blue camo pattern inspired by the new Nike Air Jordan XX8 sneaker. The team unveiled the new livery on the Skydeck on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower) in Chicago, where the team was founded and, more notably, where team owner Michael Jordan won six NBA championships with the Bulls.

2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.
