-NO RESERVE AUCTION- 1970 Suzuki TS250 Hop-Up kitted early MotoCross Please see my other no reserve auction - 1974 R&D Racing TM400 semi works 1970 TS250 MX --w/Suzuki's Hop Up Kit- This is a very cool bike in very good original shape. Stripped down for MX includes all of Suzuki's over the counter 'hop up' pieces like cylinder, head, carb, pipe, 21" front wheel. Neat bike, in excellent shape and unusual. Just went through motor and installed new crank seals and rings. Runs great; fast & loud!! This was Suzuki's answer to Yamaha's MX line of enduros. Vintage pleated seat looks great and is excellent. Original airbox, oil tank, etc. Very hard to find in this condition with these rare high performance Suzuki bits included and still in place. Still running Suzuki oil injection system. Cresent Suzuki Team Entering WSBK; Several Other Shoes Still to Drop
Fri, 21 Oct 2011British Superbike racing team Crescent Suzuki announced it will enter the World Superbike Championship next year, but Suzuki racing fans are perhaps left with even more questions about the 2012 racing season. Crescent Suzuki will enter two riders on GSX-R1000 superbikes next season, but the team has not named its riders or described the level of support it will receive from Suzuki. This season, Crescent Suzuki fielded John Hopkins and Jon Kirkham with Hopkins falling short of winning the championship thanks to a photo finish on the season’s final race.
Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries

Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.
John Hopkins Ready for Comeback
Sat, 08 Feb 2014When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.
