The rear tire still has plenty of tread, and the front tire is brand new. This Hayabusa passed our 34 point checklist with flying colors. While the company’s name might not be commonplace among performance oriented riders – yet – some pretty big names are using MWR filters even though the company doesn’t pay sponsorship dollars. According to MWR’s press release, “the reigning WSBK champion, Tom Sykes uses MWR Air Filters in his Kawasaki ZX10R.” Also, 17 riders at the Isle of Man TT were running with MWR filters.

Priced at only £79.95, delivered, the Slash Cut Trim easily bolts on with its supplied mounting clamp and spring to the catalytic converter in place of the heavy standard exit pipes on Yamaha’s R6 (2006-2011) and Suzuki’s GSX-R600/750 (K8, K9, L0). With the main aim of reducing weight and improving aesthetics on these machines, the Slash Cut Trim does give a marginal increase of throttle response and exhaust note.
Schwantz Rides Suzuki RGV500 2-Stroke At Goodwood
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Kevin Schwantz, the 1993 500cc World Grand Prix Champion, rode his iconic #34 Lucky Strike Suzuki RGV500 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend. Celebrating its 20 year, FoS, the world’s largest motoring garden party, held in West Sussex, U.K., brings together present and past dignitaries of both motorcycle and auto racing. The three-day event attracted upwards of 150,000 spectators this year.
