Here are some of the upgrades made to this awesome bike. 22" over swing arm with RC Component Flipside Wheels. 360 rear tire with finished hubs, no rear brake. 18" front rim with a 2008 GSXR fender with a finished hub. Rigid rear strut suspension. White Gator seats, passenger and driver. All smoked lights and windshield. Billet mirrors, levers and grips. Fork caps upper clamps and stem cap. Twist off fuel cap. Adjustable rear sets. Brocks 4 into 1 Titanium exhaust system with PC5 fuel pak and dyno tuned at 210 horse power.

Suzuki has prepared a touring version of the V-Strom, the 1050XT Tour

Suzuki has expanded its lineup by simply adding three black-painted aluminum panniers to the older V-Strom. The resulting "V-Strom" package has acquired its own name: Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Tour. The total volume of the top and both side cases is 112 liters.

Suzuki motorcycle business back to operating at a loss despite being making it profit over the first six months. In November, Suzuki reported its second consecutive profitable quarter from its motorcycle segment, with a net profit of 300 million yen over the six months ended Sept. 30, 2011.
