2003 Custom Suzuki Hayabusa. This is a one off custom build. No expense spared. The motor has been professionally built. The block was bored and stroked. The cylinder head is a Wards performance that has been cnc ported. The bike was dyno tuned and made 230+horsepower. Custom black paint wet sanded and polished to perfection. Full chromed 9 inch extended swingarm. Chrome everything. Carbon fiber inserts. Brand new tires and fresh fluids. Never raced just showed. This is a very powerful show bike set up for drag racing. Wed, 24 Jul 2013A little while ago, Honda revealed a 130mph tractor lawn mower with an engine from a Superhawk. Along a similar vein is the Isle of Man’s Garage Insanity with a mobility scooter equipped with a 600cc inline-four engine from a Suzuki Katana. According to Garage Insanity, the mobility scooter has a theoretical top speed of 140mph given enough running room, though in practice, it’s only been timed at 102.2 mph over a quarter-mile.
Cresent Suzuki Team Entering WSBK; Several Other Shoes Still to Drop
Fri, 21 Oct 2011British Superbike racing team Crescent Suzuki announced it will enter the World Superbike Championship next year, but Suzuki racing fans are perhaps left with even more questions about the 2012 racing season. Crescent Suzuki will enter two riders on GSX-R1000 superbikes next season, but the team has not named its riders or described the level of support it will receive from Suzuki. This season, Crescent Suzuki fielded John Hopkins and Jon Kirkham with Hopkins falling short of winning the championship thanks to a photo finish on the season’s final race.
GSX-R600 long-termer update
Mon, 18 Oct 2010When MF asks me if I fancy riding the Visordown test GSX-R 600 for a bit, I hesitate for about a millisecond before accepting. Why? ‘Cos my own courier’s favourite Diversion 900 may be heavy and utterly unexciting, but it is also a comfortable and trusty commuter ride that suits the Smoke very nicely, thanks.
