Suzuki GSX-R description
Hello eBayers! For sale is a VERY rare Suzuki. In 2010, Suzuki Motorcycles did not bring any motorcycles into the United States. No 600s, 750s, or 1000s. In that very year, Suzuki Corp. introduced a limited edition 25th Anniversary Edition for the 2010 GSX-R1000. Only 1000 of these were made WORLDWIDE and 0, that's right, ZERO, came to the USA. Besides mine, I know of only two others that were imported and those are both in California. If you want a bike that nobody will ever see or have, this is the bike for you. I have done all the necessary paperwork to legally import this bike into America. Based upon a letter from Suzuki, this bike will meet emissions standards in every state except California. For California bidders, you will have to do a little extra paperwork to legally title your bike. For the rest of the 49 states, you simply take the title and hand it to your DMV and they will give you a title with no extra work on your end. Now onto the bike itself:This bike is identical to the 2009 and 2011 GSXR-1000 that you can buy here in America, with the exception of the exclusive 25th Anniversary bits that are visually evident. There are unique 25th Anniversary GSX-R logos on the bodywork, and intricate laser-processed “25th Anniversary Edition” pinstripes on the rims of the front and rear wheels. The left and right side mufflers also feature striking “25th Anniversary Edition” graphics. The 25th Anniversary Edition comes with its own individual serial number plate on the yoke (this 1 is #926/1000) and exclusive GSX-R ignition keys. The frame is a special Metallic Matte Titanium Silver color, along with a few pieces of the body sharing the same color and the Pearl Mirage White paint job that looks amazing in person. As far as the condition, this bike was always garage kept and shows only minor wear. With just 2600 mis, the tires are still like new, as are the brakes. There are no leaks or noises. The fluids look good. On the gas tank, there is 1 little nick in the paint. On the rear trunk cover, there is a little wear. The rear seat is included along with all the stock parts such as the yellow deflectors that go on the front wheel and the original rear fender/ license plate bracket. The bike was imported by myself into America this year and has only seen the road twice. I have 2 keys and the Owner's Manual that came with the bike. This bike is sold AS-IS, as the factory Canadian warranty does not transfer over. The speedometer is in Kilometers Per Hour (KPH) right now, but you are able to purchase a speedometer in Miles Per Hour (MPH) from your local Suzuki dealer or offline. The title is clean and in hand. The title reads 2600 mis as that is the conversion from 4400kms. No test rides are allowed. I will not ship so please have your transportation sorted. Bidders with feedback under ten please contact me before bidding as I will delete your bid. This bike is also listed for sale locally, so I reserve the right to sell it to the 1st cash customer. Cash only, no checks, no certified checks, no money orders, sorry. Cash only. With exclusivity comes a cost. I will not sell this bike for anywhere near what you can buy a stock nine or 11 for, so please don't be rude and throw me lowball offers. If you can't afford it, please move on and get 1 you can. This bike is for the collectors out there who appreciate what it is and know how rare they are. If you have any further questions, I prefer phone calls or text messages to emails. You may contact me at (773) 501-XXXX.With all that said, here are some nice big images for you all to look through! Thank you for checking out this rare bike and have a great day!---------

Suzuki Confirms MotoGP Departure – Hope of 2014 Return
Fri, 18 Nov 2011As expected, Suzuki has officially announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing, though the Japanese manufacturer says it plans to return to the world championship in 2014. Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.
Mobility Scooter with Suzuki Katana Engine Schools Nissan Skyline in Drag Race – Video
Wed, 24 Jul 2013A little while ago, Honda revealed a 130mph tractor lawn mower with an engine from a Superhawk. Along a similar vein is the Isle of Man’s Garage Insanity with a mobility scooter equipped with a 600cc inline-four engine from a Suzuki Katana. According to Garage Insanity, the mobility scooter has a theoretical top speed of 140mph given enough running room, though in practice, it’s only been timed at 102.2 mph over a quarter-mile.
