This GSX-F 650 was bought new by my brother. Clear title. He has meticulously maintained it over the years and it has just over 7500 miles. This was his baby. New chain, battery and tires. I was asked to sell this for him. The first fellow that took it for a test drive at the storage unit where it is stored went out of sight and simply dropped it, while stopped, breaking the front right turn lamp. Before he could get back to me he dumped it on the left side going no more than 15mph. The guy scratched the magneto cover good, bent the clutch lever and bar end. These parts can be replaced for about $150-200. There are a couple of very minor scratches which are evident in the last three photos. Still a sound bike and a wonderful ride. I have a truck and am willing to deliver the bike (within reason) with buyer responsible for transportation costs. Please contact me with any questions or requests to test drive. Mon, 05 May 2014Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.

Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.

Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.

Mon, 14 Apr 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
