FOR SALE - 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 1000!! This bike is in excellent condition! First thing I want to state is the issue with the title. Is does have a SALVAGE brand. This bike was tipped over by the previous owner, but all that was damaged was the right side plastics and the headlight was cracked. All plastics were replaced so the paint would match correctly. I have all the paperwork to get the brand switched to REBUILT, but never got around to doing it. In the state of South Dakota, all that needs to be done would be to take the bike to the DOT and have it inspected and provide paperwork to show what you have done to fix it. To some people this is a deal breaker, but I just want to be up front about this, but this bike is nice! Now, for a list of the accessories. This bike has an Arrow Full Titanium Race Exhaust, Chrome Levers, Bar Ends, Custom License Plate Bracket and New Mirrors. This bike runs good, but lately has been throwing the F1 Code, and I put it in dealer mode and it shows code C44. This is for the oxygen sensor. This code is most likely on because of the aftermarket exhaust! I will require $500 deposit immediately at the time of sale, and the rest due within 7 days of sale. 2003 GSXR 600 ALSTARE LIMITED 40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION (2003)
For sale we have a clean 2003 GSXR 600 Alstare Edition. This is one of 1500 limited edition bikes made for that year (only 1000 made it to the US) & was the 40th Anniversary bike for Suzuki. This bike runs perfectly & is completely stock. Only flaw is in the tail section where there is a little scuff & the tail light has a aftermarket taillight & it doesn't seem to fit exactly right but it is totally functional but I think it should be replaced w/an OEM. Tires have about 60% tread as well & will eventually need to be replaced. Other than that this bike is still a real head turner & gets plenty of looks & compliments whenever it's out. Near mint condition. Now to the bad. I purchased this bike from a gentlemen in the Navy who was stationed in San Diego last December who was being shipped overseas & that was the reason for the sale. When I purchased the bike it had a Minnesota title & the MN registration was still valid until Feb 2013. The bike had 6800 miles when I purchased it. When I went to the DMV here in CA to obtain a new title I was advised that any bike that has under 7500 miles is still considered new & can't be registered for some kind of CA emissions BS reason. Basically if the bike had over 7500 miles I could register it. I know it sounds stupid but that's CA. So for the last few months I've been trying to put some miles on this bike to get it up to 7500 so I can go back to the DMV here in CA to register it & have it inspected by the CHP so I can get it titled in my name. I currently have 7328 miles on it so I'm getting close. Now If it was any other state this wouldn't be an issue but like I said CA has some strict registration laws when it comes to cars & motorcycles. Now my wife just dropped the bomb on me that she's pregnant so now I have to sell the bike. The bike still has the MN title, but isn't currently registered, I just want to be totally up front & forthcoming in regards to the title & registration on this bike. So if your in CA this might be an issue for you. Other than that the bike is solid, I love this bike but unfortunately w/a baby on the way it's gotta go. Suzuki Contributes to Philippines Typhoon Relief Efforts
Mon, 18 Nov 2013Suzuki announced it will donate ¥7 million (US$70,013) in aid to help those in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Suzuki joins Honda and Yamaha which have both previously pledged aid to the Philippines. The latest numbers have raised the death toll to 3,951 people, with another 1,598 still unaccounted for, and another 4 million displaced from their homes.
Suzuki Reports Q2 2013-2014 Sales Results
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Suzuki reported a 22.9% increase in net sales from motorcycles for the six month period ended Sept. 30, 2013, despite a 10.3% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the same period. According to Suzuki’s second quarter financial report, the Japanese manufacturer sold 1.056 million motorcycles in the first half of the 2013-2014 fiscal year.
Eugene Laverty Signs with Suzuki for 2014 WSBK Season
Tue, 12 Nov 2013World Superbike Championship runner-up Eugene Laverty has signed a deal with the Crescent Suzuki team to race in the 2014 season. Laverty finished second to Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes this season, with nine wins and 19 total podium finishes for the Aprilia factory team riding the RSV4. Next season, Laverty will switch to the Yoshimura-powered Suzuki GSX-R1000.

Powered by a 1340cc Suzuki Hayabusa engine, the Invader Model R shares the same chassis, body and motor as the Invader TC-3 coupe and receives a number of performance enhancements.

John Hopkins Returning to British Superbike Racing

The Ramona, Calif., native will make his return in the British Superbike Championship, racing for Tyco Suzuki on the TAS Racing GSX-R1000. Hopkins last raced in the series in 2011, finishing second overall in the championship that was decided in the final race when Hopkins finished 0.006 seconds behind the champion Tommy Hill.
