7,500 miles. Have brand NEW Dunlop Q3's that i have not mounted yet ($300). Brand new Pazzo Shorty race clutch/brake levers ($250/just installed). M4 exhaust. Toce custom license plate mount with light (NEW). Hotbodies led turnsignals custom (replaces stock mirrors). CRG 2in bar end mirrors (NEW). Brand new black rear seat cowl. Brembo brakes. Have stock windscreen and also have 2 brand new Zero Gravity windscreens as well. A dark smoke stock replacement and also a light smoke double bubble ($200/pair,new). Brand New PIAA high and low beam headlights. Vortex framesliders. Brand new Ariette gsxr race grips. New clutch (less than 1,500 miles on new clutch). K&N air filter. The Z650 got a modern instrument pod in 2020 with a few other tasteful refinements, and the SV650 hasn’t changed a bit (God bless it).
Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
2012 Suzuki V-Strom 1000, V-Strom 1000 Adventure and V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure Announced
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Suzuki is bringing back its V-Strom 1000 for 2012 and adding a new U.S.-only “Adventure” version with luggage. The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 is unchanged from its previous version, last offered as a 2009 model. It’s powered by the same 996cc liquid cooled, fuel-injected 90-degree V-Twin engine as the previous model.
