WSBK: 2012 Miller Results

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. My favourite ever BSB brolly dolly has to be Keith Flint. He joined me on the grid back in 1997 at Brands Hatch before I nailed down my second championship with two race wins. A nicer bloke you couldn't ever wish to meet so it’s good to see him out and about regularly on his Crescent Suzuki prepared GSXR 1000.

Suzuki has prepared a touring version of the V-Strom, the 1050XT Tour

Suzuki has expanded its lineup by simply adding three black-painted aluminum panniers to the older V-Strom. The resulting "V-Strom" package has acquired its own name: Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Tour. The total volume of the top and both side cases is 112 liters.
