AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

Mon, 13 Oct 2014From a Suzuki press release: The 2015 Suzuki MotoGP GSX-RR was unveiled at today’s Motegi MotoGP race in Japan as 1993 World 500cc GP Champion Kevin Schwantz was joined by 1982 World Champion Franco Uncini for demonstration laps at the Twin Ring circuit. Schwantz, who joined the Suzuki MotoGP test team for its test at Austin in Texas, USA earlier this year, rode the GSX-RR while Uncini demonstrated the GSV-R that last competed in the 2011 MotoGP series. Yoshimura Suzuki Signs Roger Hayden for 2014 AMA Superbike Championship
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Roger Hayden has signed on to race the 2014 AMA Superbike season for Yoshimura Suzuki, joining the returning Martin Cardenas and Chris Clark. Hayden spent the last few seasons with the Jordan Suzuki satellite team, finishing fourth overall in 2013 and third in 2012. The 2012 season also saw Hayden earn his only career AMA Superbike victory.
