Suzuki GSX-R description

Please read this listing carefully before agreeing to place a bid or if you purchase the bike. I will not be responsible if you do not read the ad carefully. I will try to be as detailed as possible. Please ask as many questions as you would like to get the most information possible if you are interested in this bike. If you have any questions, call or text me at 281-455-3472. if I don't answer please leave a message and I will call you back. up for sale is a 2004 gsxr 1000 that was turbocharged. I purchased this bike on ebay back in june 2013. Bike was complete when I purchased it, I have included pics of the bike when I got it. When I received the bike, I took it straight to blias cycle in dania beach, florida to have them tune the bike, plus had a boost leak when I got it. After a couple small repairs, blais cycle tuned the bike and went on a road test. on the road test, a fuel line in the engine bay blew out and the bike caught fire. The fire was quickly put out. This was a very unfortunate incident but I have decided to part out the bike and sell it as I did not want to spend the money to repair the bike. I have other projects that I am working on and wasn't expecting this to happen. What you will be getting is the bike with engine only, again see all pictures for what is included. This will make an excellent track bike for someone or a project bike. The engine does run, was not damaged in the fire, only has signs of smoke damage. I have stripped down the bike and cleaned it as best as possible. What you will actually receive is the following....

bike frame (clean title)

engine (has falcon rods, je turbo pistons, hd springs, ported head, light and balanced crankshaft, billet oil pan, MTC multi stage clutch, manual cam chain tensioner). I cant verify the internal work but palmetto luxury (who owned bike before did verify engine work was done). also head does look to be ported, check out the pics.

rear swingarm (Thompson 600 extended swingarm) has chain

front forks

upper and lower triple trees

front fairing stay

front and rear wheels with tires

front brake calipers and hoses

both handle bars

ignition switch with key and tank lock

as far as damage, the front of the ignition switch harness got burned, I cut off the burnt part, can easily be fixed, just match up the wires from the wiring diagram and fix (a matching connecter will need to be used)

both harness ends on the hande bars burned, again cut off the damaged parts

has the coils but 1 of the will need to be replaced as the top got burned

Will come with a Good used engine harness (used from ebay, new battery purchased in july)

Has new spark plugs, fresh oil

Does NOT come with fairings, fuel tank, ecu, throttle bodies, fuel rail.

I am probably missing something but again ask any questions as needed and look at the pics

bike will come with a clean title and a bill of sale. I never registered the bike when I received it as it went straight to shop the day after I got it and was there till a few weeks ago when I got it back home. previous owner never registered the bike either, so title is still in the first owners name (pics included). I only signed the title as I was going to register it but this happened. since the previous owner also bought bike on ebay, I had that seller (palmetto luxury, car dealer in south Carolina) get permission from the seller to sign the bill of sale over to me which makes me the current owner of the bike. so once you buy it, you will get the title and a bill of sale from me to you. do your research first to make sure you can register it, im sure you can but please double check. again, ASK QUESTIONS if you have any.

I tried to give as much info as possible, reserve is set low for the bike, buy it now is also low. I will NOT ship this bike, you are responsible to arrange shipping. there are plenty of companies online to get this done. UShip is a great company. price also depends on how far you are from Miami. I paid $365 from uship to have a previous bike shipped from pa to Miami. also I don't expect anyone to buy a bike without seeing it in person, if you want to see this bike in person and are in the Miami area, contact me first. I will be more then happy to show it to you. again, please read listing carefully, do not bid or buy this if you are not intending to pay, please don't waist my time. will not accept any bids from anyone with less then 10 feedback unless you contact me first, if you don't the bid will be deleted. I can only insert 24 photos, I have more including what the bike looked like when it caught fire and others, if you want those text me and I will either text you the pics of email them. If the pics do not come out clear for you, I will text them from my phone, the quality is better. ASK QUESTIONS again if needed

2013 AMA Superbike Daytona Race Report

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

The story leading up to the opening round of the 2013 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike season was whether anyone would be able to keep up with defending champion Josh Hayes. After all, the Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider dominated the competition last season winning 16 of 20 races including a string of 10 in a row. The season-opening round at Daytona International Speedway appeared to start on script with Hayes qualifying in pole position.

Suzuki Pushes MotoGP Return Back to 2015

Mon, 17 Jun 2013

The good news is Suzuki revealed the first official images of its new MotoGP prototype racer. The bad news is the Japanese manufacturer announced it is delaying its MotoGP return for another year, now targeting a comeback for the 2015 season. When Suzuki first announced its withdrawal from the MotoGP championship in 2011, the plan was to return for the 2014 season.

Suzuki Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

Suzuki reported a 13.1% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the first three quarters of its 2013-2014 fiscal year, but still managed a 17.8% increase in net sales from its motorcycle division. That may seem like a paradox, but the results can be explained by a more favorable exchange rate for the Japanese yen and by looking closer at where those sales decreases took place. The yen has turned around significantly over the last year and a half, vastly improving how foreign sales affect Suzuki’s bottom line.
