Suzuki GSX-R description

 2001 GSXR 1000.
Lots of new parts some old.
Recent Paint that looks great in pictures and from a few feet.
New oil and filter.
New Titanium header with Slip on Carbon exhaust.
New mirrors, Turn signals front, universal gas cap.
KZ1000 front end with drag strap hooks and larger than stock MONO Bloc brakes.
Extra ECU comes with the bike (I believe one is factory tune and one isn't).
Brand new Chain and Sprocket (I removed the race sprocket for street use).

Presently has factory Tail light due to Hard Bodies tail lights being too dim for street use.
Hard Bodies undertail will be put back on when new Brighter LED lights and blinkers arrive. Or put your own lights on it.
I also have Honda CBR LED tail light that can be made to fit (Needs brackets and is often used as an upgrade to the factory tail light for a sleek design).

Runs good
21,625 miles today.

NOTE: I can no longer ride so bike is for sale, I never got a chance to ride or race it myself but the previous owner may have.
Don't know what happened before I owned the bike. Just know it was sitting outside in the weather when I got it.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
