This listing is for a rare, hard to find, low mileage 1991 GSXR 1100. It is red and black and is in excellent condition. I am the 3rd owner and it only has just over 12k original miles. Everything on the bike is original with the exception of the seat cowl, (the original rear seat comes with the bike), aftermarket turn signals, (One original set is included with the sale), Mikuni Side Draft Carbs, (the original carbs are included) and the exhaust. All paint is original and in very nice condition. As you can tell from the pictures, it has a great shine. Everything on the bike is working. It is ready to enjoy and ride and it will obviously increase in value. As you probably know, it is very difficult to find a GSXR-1100 with such low miles. There are just one or two very minor blemishes. It is in amazing condition for a 22 year old bike. I still ride this bike several times a month, so the mileage will change slightly. Mon, 15 Apr 2013BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.

To me it seems like yesterday, but it was way back in 2007 when he last rode for the British based team ending the season 4th in the World Championship. The dry qualifying went well but he wasn’t too upset when it rained on race day as he admitted to not being bike fit and would have struggled to maintain a fast dry race pace.

Thu, 01 Aug 2013Suzuki reported an 18.5% increase in net sales from its motorcycle business in its first quarter ended June 30, 2013. Suzuki reports sales of 70.5 billion yen (US$710.1 million) from its motorcycle business, an increase from 59.5 billion yen reported in the same quarter last year. Unfortunately, despite increasing revenue, Suzuki’s motorcycle operations still remains in the red, operating at a loss of 2.7 billion yen (US$27.2 million) compared to a loss of 3.5 billion yen in the first quarter last year.
