It is in great condition!Everything functions as should, mechanically and electrically. Original exhaust system, airbox and still sporting the oem windscreen. Fuel tank was autographed by Kevin Schwantz himself and preserved with a clear-shield. It does have the upgraded 1100 4.0" rear wheel but the oem 3.5" is included in the sale, Fully serviced by Speedwerks. inc; new EBC brake pads, RK chain and sprockets. The front suspension has been completely rebuilt, The carbs were rebuilt and fitted with a dynojet kit. A valve adjustment was preformed, along with NGK plugs, filters and all fluids replaced. Metzeler Roadtec tires. Chassis has been professionally detailed. see naked pics. We do have some period correct upgrade parts available, if the new owner wishes, suspension,exhaust etc. These slab sides are so rare in OEM condition,we just left this one alone. Chip Yates To Compete At Pikes Peak With Lightning
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Now that the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is fully paved, the event is drawing a number of racers worldwide for the 91st running. The latest to announce his entry into the motorcycle field is six-time winner Chip Yates, aboard a Lightning superbike. Among the number of competitors, Yates will be competing against another Pikes Peak winner, Greg Tracy, aboard an Amarok P1A.
Suzuki Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results
Fri, 07 Feb 2014Suzuki reported a 13.1% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the first three quarters of its 2013-2014 fiscal year, but still managed a 17.8% increase in net sales from its motorcycle division. That may seem like a paradox, but the results can be explained by a more favorable exchange rate for the Japanese yen and by looking closer at where those sales decreases took place. The yen has turned around significantly over the last year and a half, vastly improving how foreign sales affect Suzuki’s bottom line.
Suzuki Provides Aid Following Chinese Earthquake
Mon, 22 Apr 2013Suzuki is providing 10 million yen (US$100,500) in aid to the Red Cross Society to provide support for those affected by the April 20 earthquake in China’s Sichuan province. Suzuki‘s pledge is in addition to 1 million RMB (US$161,000) donated by Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co., a Suzuki joint venture with China’s Changan Group. The region in southwestern China was hit by a major tremor at about 8 o’clock in the morning, local time.
