THIS IS TRULY A VINTAGE CLASSIC WITH ALL THE PROVENANCE . WES COOLEY WHICH RODE FOR TEAM YOSHIMURA AND IS NOW IN THE HALLL OF FAME ,RODE THIS BIKE TO VICTORY AT LAGUNA SECA. ANYWAY THIS IS A FINE EXAMPLE OF A 1983 GS750ES. THIS BIKE WAS AHEAD OF IT TIME WITH STYLING QUES, HANDLING. AND TECHNICAL INNOVATIONS . IT'S VERY ON POINT AND SIMPLE; JUST A GREAT RIDE. THE BIKE IS AIR COOLED WITH A FACTORY OIL COOLER. THERE IS SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT SIMPLICITY ; NO WATER PUMP, NO ANTIFREEZE , NO HOSES, NO RADIATOR, NO RESERVE TANK, STUFF LIKE THAT, AND IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT ,ALL ENGINES ARE ESSENTIALLY AIR COOLED ANYWAY. 2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.
