Suzuki GS description

2009 Suzuki GS500F, For Sale is a 2009 Suzuki GS500F, purchased brand new from the dealer in March 2011. Technically, this is a 2-1/2-year-old bike. This motorcycle has been converted to an E type (unfaired) model to suit user preference. Accessories on the converted bike include an SW Motech tail plate luggage mount, SW Motech engine guards, Steel headlight, National Cycle windshield, Hyper-lites, and a Stebel Compact Nautilus air horn (139 decibels!!!). Conversion is completely reversible and price includes all original fairing and hardware to return it to its original F model state, should you so desire. I am the original owner. The bike is always covered when parked and has also been kept under a carport for most of its life. Never wheelied, stoppied, red-lined, or otherwise abused by its one female owner. Minor scratches from 2 parking lot tipovers. Ridden 2-4 times per week, a mix of short and long trips, so NO PARKED BIKE ISSUES. Meticulously cared for and maintained, serviced by a competent motorcycle mechanic. Complete maintenance records are available for your review. Very clean. Great first bike! Easy to ride, easy and inexpensive to maintain. Gets an amazing 60mpg!!! CASH only. Clear GA title in hand. Asking: $3,300.00 Please call: 706-442-5052

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

R&G announce cheaper engine case cover kits

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

R&G Racing has reacted to the rising cost of official motorcycle parts from manufacturers by creating money saving packages on its Engine Case Covers. As a reaction to the parts price rise, the crash protection leader has created a kit package on its Engine Case Covers (ECC) – offering an overall saving of more than 10% when compared to buying the items individually. The ECCs are designed to protect the engine cases and the inner workings of the motor in the event of a drop by acting as a sturdy ‘second skin’.By simply bolting over the original items, fitting the durable Engine Case Covers doesn’t require draining any engine fluids or replacing gaskets. Extensively developed in the ACU R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy, as well as being tested and approved by the California Superbike School in the UK and USA, the covers can allow a bike to be ridden after a crash or prevent terminal engine damage from oil leaks or casing punctures.Protection benefits aside, financial savings for riders are evident by looking at official parts prices; to replace only the clutch cover on a Suzuki GSX-R1000K7 would cost £206 including a new gasket, but all three R&G Engine Case Covers for this bike cost only £143.
