Only flaw on this bike is a small scratch on the right exhaust pipe, which Im pretty sure can be buffed out. The 2008 Hayabusas stock engine has been enlarged from 1,299cc to 1,340cc, and sports improvements including twin swirl combustion chambers that offer an 11% bump in output. Suzuki claims the Hayabusa produces a staggering 194 horsepower at the crank, and we believe it. Other improvements include a new 4-2-1-2 exhaust system, a hydraulic slipper clutch, and Suzukis Selective Drive Mode System (S-DMS), which allows engine power to be modified using a three-mode thumb selector switch. Suzuka Eight Hour capers
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
