Suzuki to Trim US Powersports Dealership Network

When American Suzuki announced it was shutting down its automobile business, the company said it intended to focus on its powersports operations. It comes as a surprise then to some dealers that Suzuki is not renewing all of its dealership agreements. According to DealerNews, dealerships received letters this week from American Suzuki notifying them whether their franchise agreements would be renewed with the newly formed Suzuki Motor America.

The second programme in the Suzuki MotoGP development video documentary series is now live. Episode 2 moves to Twin Ring Motegi in Japan in April and May where MotoGP rider Randy De Puniet joins the team as test rider and Davide Brivio is appointed as Suzuki MotoGP Test Team Manager; with first interviews with both rider and manager. 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa ABS Recall Expands to US

Suzuki Motor of America has recalled the 2013 Hayabusa because of a problem with its anti-lock brake system. A Hayabusa recall was previously announced for the Canadian market, and it was no surprise a similar recall was announced for the U.S., as the issue traces back to a single part supplier, affecting several models from multiple manufacturers. The Suzuki Hayabusa is just one of several models from multiple manufacturers affected by a manufacturing error by ABS part supplier Nissin.
