Suzuki GS description

You are bidding on an exquisite, One Owner, 184 mile example of the 1982 Suzuki GS1100E that has been superbly preserved. This appreciating Museum Quality Collector Motorcycle was originally purchased NEW on May 8th, 1987. It has since been intentionally preserved in As-New condition in a climate controlled environment. The only flaw I can find on this motorcycle is seen on the front brake master cylinder reservoir where the black finish has come off from brake fluid contamination. Please see photograph. Otherwise, this beautiful Suzuki is flawless in my opinion and worthy of any motorcycle collection. There is a freshly charged battery in the bike and all electrical operations function as they should. The motor spins over freely on the starter button. The decision has been made to NOT fill the tank and carburetors with gas as the Winning Bidder may choose to keep this Suzuki in a collection. The motorcycle comes with original tool kit, 2 keys, front fork pressure gauge and owners manual.

Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to own an iconic piece of Suzuki motorcycling history. Bid with Confidence

Suzuki Forecasts 9% Increase in North American Sales in 2011-2012 Fiscal Year

Thu, 23 Jun 2011

Suzuki Motor Corporation released its forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2012, predicting a 9.4% increase in worldwide motorcycle unit sales including a 9.0% increase in the North American market. The fiscal forecast, delayed from Suzuki’s previous quarterly report in May because of the uncertainty caused by the March 11 earthquake, paints a positive picture for the current fiscal year. Suzuki forecasts sales of about 55,000 units in North America, an increase from about 50,000 units sold the previous fiscal year.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
