Suzuki GS description

There is still plenty of time ahead for some great fall riding... This 1979 Suzuki is a great bike that you will enjoy riding. It's the last year Suzuki had the 850 with both a kickstart and electric start. Both work perfectly. This bike is in excellent condition - runs and looks great.  All electronics and safety equipment work well. Extensive recent shop overhaul was completed within the last 7 months.

The overhaul included:
- replacement of all cables (throttle, clutch, tachometer, speedometer)
- new front and rear tires
- rebuilt forks with new seals and fluid
- four new turn signals, front and back (they do not match)
- new side cover emblems, airbox chrome covers and lower fork legs
- converted it to a later model H4 headlight bucket and bulb
- overhauled carbs with new kits
- new spark plugs, points and condensers
- new piston rings with all new engine gaskets from base to upper end including the headgasket
- new oil and filter
- new air filter
- new grips
- shop welded in a pair of Triumph 750 mufflers to the mac header pipes - sounds like stock

2022 Suzuki Hayabusa First Look

Fri, 05 Feb 2021

Everything you wanted to know about Suzuki's flagship except what it's like to ride For a segment of motorcycling as technologically-driven as sportbikes, 14 years is an eternity – even more so for a category that Suzuki calls the Ultimate Sportbike – but that’s how long it’s been for the Hayabusa. While there was an incremental update in 2013 that brought ABS to the table, until today, the Hayabusa, a motorcycle that, on its inception way back in 1999 had claimed the title of “world’s fastest production motorcycle,” had only undergone two generational updates: the original release and the 2008 revamp. However, today’s announcement of the 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa adds another chapter to this earth-bound missile.
