The scoot is garage kept, minimal use, with1400 miles, which averages out to 175 miles A YEAR. This is a beauty, she runs strong and fast. Automatic or manual transmission. Never used the manual, always on automatic. Electric front windshield can go up or down. Electric side mirrors, Included are all manuals. Bike cover, 2 size small helmets, leather gloves, and cordura nylon bag that attaches to bike for travel. Chip Yates To Compete At Pikes Peak With Lightning

Now that the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is fully paved, the event is drawing a number of racers worldwide for the 91st running. The latest to announce his entry into the motorcycle field is six-time winner Chip Yates, aboard a Lightning superbike. Among the number of competitors, Yates will be competing against another Pikes Peak winner, Greg Tracy, aboard an Amarok P1A.

It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
