Suzuki Boulevard description
2011 Suzuki Boulevard S40, This Professionally built, custom Cafe Racer is a 2011 Suzuki S40 with only 290 miles! It has an air-cooled, single cylinder 650cc 4-stroke OHC motor. It is belt driven with a 5 speed transmission. The venerable Suzuki S40 (or Savage, as its been known for the past 20 years) is one of the unsung heroes of the thumper world. It was designed to be lightweight, reliable, and fuel efficient. It is a perfect donor bike for a Cafe Racer custom motorcycle! This bike truly is the best of both worlds. It has the classic styling and appeal of a vintage cafe racer, PLUS the reliability, handling and benefits of a modern bike. Bike starts and runs perfectly and the condition is flawless. It seems I cant go on a ride without a friendly new englander stopping me to comment on the bike, especially on the paint scheme. The color is VooDoo Blue, which is matched to the Toyota FJ Cruiser. The black shocks as well as the black front fender blend in with the rest of the black, while the bright blue pops, bolstering that classic cafe racer look. Some pics show the bike without the side panels. They are currently removed to get more of the open frame look. But they can easily be put back on. Every aspect of this custom conversion was done PROFESSIONALLY at Ryca Motors which you can read about on their website, as well as see more pics of the bike. Its currently registered and I have title in hand. I am willing to cooperate with shipping if you make the arrangements. I am also willing to deliver within reason within the New England area. First Laps of the 2015 Suzuki MotoGP Racer
Tue, 18 Jun 2013Suzuki put its new prototype race bike through its first test laps alongside other MotoGP racers in preparation for its impending return to racing in the 2015 season. Test rider Nobuatsu Aoki, who had been playing a key role in the racebike’s development, took the new Suzuki 1000cc Inline-Four prototype out for a few shakedown laps before handing things over to Randy de Puniet who completed the bulk of the testing at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. After a day of testing, de Puniet put up the eighth-best lap time, clocking in at 1:42.676, just 0.772 seconds behind Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo who had the top lap time among all participants. It’s important to note however that Repsol Honda and series leader Dani Pedrosa did not participate in this test.
