2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. Yoshimura Suzuki USA Signs Blake Baggett

From a Suzuki press release: Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing has signed former AMA Pro 250 Motocross Champion Blake Baggett to the team today during the 2015 Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (SMAI) Dealer Meeting at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Baggett will join Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart in the premier class for the 2015 AMA Pro Supercross and Motocross seasons, but his first race on the Yoshimura Suzuki RM-Z450 will be Las Vegas’ Monster Energy Cup later this month.

AMA Pro SuperBike Heads To Road America For Round 2 Of AMA Pro Road Racing

The 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season resumes this weekend with the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and all eyes will be on 21-year-old AMA Pro SuperBike rookie Cameron Beaubier on the No. 2 Monster Energy Graves Yamaha YZF-R1. Beaubier may be the new kid on the block, but he entered the season opener at Daytona International Speedway with high expectations.
