2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109r , 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109R, Innovative and classic design combines the clean, sweeping good looks of a classic cruiser with high performance provided by Suzuki advanced technology. The engine is a 1,783 cc (108.8 cu in), four-valve DOHC, 54-degree, liquid-cooled, fuel injected V-twin. It has a bore and stroke of 112.0 mm 90.5 mm (4.41 in 3.56 in). Each bore is lined with Suzuki's SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material) to aid heat transfer, improve piston-to-cylinder clearances and reduce weight. The engine has electronic fuel injection system with 52 mm throttle bodies and dual spark plugs.The transmission is five speed. The teaser campaign, which can be seen at Suzuki’s official website, shows the image above, along with the words: “Time For Real Adventures” and “Middle-Class New Motorcycle”. These hints suggest the new model will be an updated V-Strom 650, likely using an engine similar to the one powering the Suzuki Gladius SFV650.
