It combines classic cruiser styling with renowned Suzuki V-twin power in such a striking way that it establishes a new standard for the class- and completes the Suzuki Boulevard line of cruisers. The key to the C109Rs performance is its 109-cubic-inch engine with Suzuki fuel injection- the same basic powerplant used by the awesome M109R, which traces its technological heritage to Suzukis championship winning GSX-R supersport bikes. But that was the limit of our friendship as he never wanted to like rivals too much, just in case it affected his competitive edge. These days, he has no great desire to barge me off the track at Redgate or Cascades so when our paths cross we happily spend time sorting out the problems of the world.
