Suzuki Bandit description
I bought her not even a year ago from somebody on craiglist with 14.6K miles for $2000, replaced the gas tank, got the carbs cleaned, and I replaced the radiator cap to get her up and running smoothly, but unfortunately i'm relocating to Philadelphia I need to sell it because I need a 4-wheel drive car for the snow. She's reliable and she will get you where you need to go. Also as a bonus I will throw in my helmet, gloves, and jacket (seeing as how I won't need it anymore). Suzuki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Fri, 05 Aug 2011Suzuki’s motorcycle business saw a profit for the first time in 11 quarters despite selling 21.0% fewer motorcycles. In the quarter ended June 30, 2011, Suzuki saw an operating income of 300 million yen (US$3.8 million), compared to a loss of 1.8 billion yen (US$22.9 million) reported in the same quarter of 2010. Suzuki netted 75.4 billion yen (US$961.5 million) in motorcycle sales over the quarter, a year-on-year increase of 8.0% from 69.8 billion yen (US$890.0 million) in 2010.
2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.
Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend
Wed, 08 May 2013American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.
