Suzuki Bandit description
Bought this bike a few years ago to commute back and forth to work on. No problems in the 34K miles I have ridden it. Almost 50K now, no problems at all. Full Yoshimura exhuast system, Dale Walker stage two jet kit and five degree timing advancer. Handlebar risers for more comfortable sitting position. Bar snake to reduce vibration, tank bra, cat eye blinkers in front, lowered 3/4in, have stock parts. I have full fiberglass fairings but laid bike down at slow speed and 1 is damaged. Looks good with them on, the 1 can be repaired. A few scratches as I have dropped it a few times at no speed. Spare windshield, stock 1 is on it now. Metzler RoadTec Z6 tires front and rear, excellent tread. Bike is very fast. Custom Corbin seat and new battery.Brand new in box Deluxe Motorcycle coverPics can be found at:http://s1017.photobucket.com/albums/af294/FlyLikeABandit2/2002%20Suzuki%20Bandit%201200S%20For%20Sale%203500/Video can be found at:http://vholdr.com/video/ride-around-block-my-bandit-1200-0 If post is still up, bike is still for sale. 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Review – First Ride
Tue, 04 Feb 2020ADV for Everyman, now with more power and cruise control Credit: Photos by Suzuki and John Burns How can any red-blooded American not love Suzuki, the blue-collar working motorcycle so many of us thrashed as youths, left parked in alleys with no loss of sleep, covered in fur for a brief period there in the (I think) ’90s… In spite of all the abuse we dished out, Suzuki’s loyalty was never in question. 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Editor Score: 88% Engine 18.0/20 Suspension/Handling 13.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 9.0/10 Brakes 8.5/10 Instruments/Controls 4.0/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 9.5/10 Appearance/Quality 8.5/10 Desirability 8.5/10 Value 9.0/10 Overall Score 88/100 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 First Look Of all the GSX-Rs, GSX-Fs, SVs, RMs and TLs that have graced the editorial garage, I think the big V-Strom has emerged as my favorite, even if it wasn’t clear what role the first DL1000 was supposed to play in 2002? Back then, it was all about the GSX-R.
Intermot 2012: Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Concept Breaks Cover
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Today at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, Suzuki unveiled its V-Strom 1000 Concept. Heavily rumored to receive similar styling updates as its V-Strom 650 stablemate, Suzuki instead turned to its 1988 DR750S, the company’s first big on/off road machine, for inspiration, taking many by surprise. The updates are more than just skin deep, as the entire motorcycle has been redesigned.
