Royal Enfield Classic 500 description
Hello and thanks for looking at my 2012 Royal Enfield C5 Chrome!
I bought this bike "new" in 2014 from a dealer (it was old stock with maybe ~80 demo miles on it) and have really enjoyed riding it for the past 2 years. Unfortunately with the little time I have to ride I can no longer financially justify owning a second motorcycle, so the Enfield has to go. As you'll see in the pictures, I put a few "must have" aftermarket parts on the bike: - Exhaust (the original looked like a telephone pole and sounded like a hair dryer) - Retro-style mirror - Bee hive tail light and bullet-style rear turn signals - 7" Headlight I still have all original parts and will include with the bike if you'd like to swap any of the stock parts back on. This is a garage-kept bike that has been ridden and enjoyed for nice weather, Sunday drives -- it's not a commuter, and I've taken very good care of it. That said, it is a used bike, and if you look closely you may find the odd stone chip here or there. The bike is mechanically flawless, though there is one minor electrical issue -- after I put the larger aftermarket headlight on, I noticed that my high-beam no longer works. This may be an easy fix, and have something to do with the way I wired it. I've honestly never bothered to fix it since I've never ridden the bike at night (and the standard beam works great). Finally, for non-local buyers I'm happy to work with any shipping companies you like. Thanks again for looking! I hope you'll enjoy this bike as much as I have. You won't find a better combination of vintage looks, sound, and character with modern reliability for anywhere near this price point. Just be ready for lots of attention and questions when you stop for gas -- this bike turns a ton of heads. Jason |

Wed, 03 Nov 2021A subjectively handsome, and objectively good performing motorcycle for $5,299. There’s no shortage of expensive, big-displacement, powerful Adventure-Touring motorcycles. Then there’s the mid-displacement segment that is oftentimes only marginally less expensive.
