This unique collectors-item is a great investment opportunity which will, apart from the benefit of owning this machine, always keep, or even increase in value, as such bikes can hardly ever be found on the market (or are even in existance!).
It is running and riding Very well, the odometer reads 81164 km/50433 mile and everything works fine.
On the bike are still all the police-spec components fitted, like the rare Gläser fairing, special dash set-up, police-model/half-closed BMW front fender, blue-colored alternating "BMW" flash-lights, dual tone alternating "Bosch" police-horns, integrated side & top case set (the lh side case has the original police radio fitted) remote-control for the police radio and an original BMW single seat.
Because of legal reasons both the optical and acoustical police-signals have been disabled (by a removed) twist-in type fuse*, though they are working fine as soon as the fuse* is back in again (*comes with the bike, takes just a few seconds to put back in).
Furthermore also the police radio unit & remote control are disconnected for legal reasons (having such a working unit is a really serious offense for private persons at our end!), ..there is no connector on the wire that goes to the main-unit and also the wiring harness between the main unit and remote-control has been removed. The fold-down-type arial is still in place and all the radio components should be in good condition.
The bike is in this green-white color for reason that the German government ordered all police vehicles to be in this particular color-scheme from January 1st 1975 on.

The bike has after 36 years traces of use and age.
It has been manufactured in 1977, like should both the frame- and enginenumber are matching with the vin id-plate and title.
It has never been registered in the US and comes with a clear European title.
I only offer shipping by sea, where of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country (I can recommend a really good and in motor-vehicles specialized broker).
The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fully insured in case of eventual damage/loss.
