THIS SWEETHEART OF A BIKE NEEDS SO LITTLE TO BE USED AS AN EVERYDAY COMMUTER OR AN OVER THE ROAD BIKE.I TOOK IT FROM NORTHERN ARIZONA TO NEW YORK AND BACK THREE YEARS AGO AND IT IMPRESSED ME!RARE THAT A BIKE OF THIS YEAR HAS SO LITTLE MILEAGEI HAD THE SEAT CUSTOM REUPHOLSTERED USING SPECIAL MATERIAL THAT WONT FADE OR GET HOT!IT HAS A NEWLY INSTALLED REAR TIREIT HAS ALL NEW BRAKES FRONT AND REAR AND NEW ROTORSHAS HIGH END HIGHWAY PEGS ON THE CRASH BAR....SUPER NICE!TELL YA EXACTLY WHAT I THINK IT NEEDS: A NEW BATTERYFRESH FUEL A NEW DRIVERS SIDE MIRRORCLUTCH CABLE SLACK ADJUSTMENT ON THE BOTTOMTHE NEW FRONT TIRE INSTALLED ( I ALREADY HAVE THE TIRE BRAND NEW STILL IN THE PACKAGE AND IT'S INCLUDED!)

In very nice condition for its age,it could use a little tuning, the speedo just recently stopped working, all its power is there it hits 90 mph without any issues, the paint has a few chips but overall very good condition, In the one photo in the desert, the bike is complete when I got it 2 months ago, I drove it across the country to VA which its where it is now in my fathers garage,my plans have changed and IM in Europe now and don't know when Ill be back witch is why IM selling it, the only parts that are no longer with the bike are the highway pegs and the antennas' the stereo didn't work very well any way, I was playing around with the look of the bike before I left and put it into storage, so in the other pics is pretty much how I left one month ago, the pipes are also off because I was gonna bring them with me to Europe to use on my other goldwing =D but I didnt, so theres about three boxes with them, and all the other extra chrome and fenders, so to start the bike it must be filled with fuel the battery connected and mufflers put on, I could possibly have someone do it before pick up..also it has Canadian documents, and brand new import papers I never titled it, the original documents have my signature as buyer, so I imagine all that is needed is a bill of sale from me to the new buyer.

YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 1983 HONDA GOLD WING INTERSTATE GL1100.  THE PREVIOUS OWNER CARED FOR THIS OLD GEM, I KNOW THERE IS A COLLECTOR OUT THERE THAT NEEDS THIS ONE IN HIS OR HERS COLLECTION. THIS BIKE STARTS UP AND PURS LIKE A KITTEN, KEEP IN MIND IT IS 33YRS OLD WITH TYPICAL 33YR OLD PROBLEMS BUT I WOULD CONSIDER IT IN GREAT SHAPE FOR THE AGE AND ODOMETER MILES. BIKE RUNS LIKE A CHAMP AND TIRES LOOK TO BE IN GREAT SHAPE, THE FRONT BRAKES ARE A LITTY MUSHY .

This might be the cleanest GL1100 Interstate you will come across and it really only has 17,736 kilometres on it.  I purchased it from the original owner which rode it occasionally and only took on one extended trip, and he claimed that the only time that it was outside overnight was 10 days when he was on his trip. and when he returned, he brought it to the shop I work at and I put new Michelin Hi-Tour  tires on it for him and he rode it home, put in his garage, tarped it and never moved after that and that was in 1989 and he kept in his heated garage until approximately 2 years ago when I purchased from him.   I am a 40 year+ Honda motorcycle Tech, {at the same dealership} so bringing this unit "back to life" was nothing out of the ordinary for me.

This was the top-of-the-line Honda Gold Wing that year with digital dash, full fairing & luggage, AM/FM radio, adjustable suspension with on-board air compressor. Two-tone grey & dark blue. Accessories include: custom king / queen seat, ride-off front stand, highway boards, running lights, Wind Wings, Tulsa windshield with Honda vent, foam grips, throttle lock, Progressive front fork springs, saddlebag top rails, luggage rack on trunk, and Star Steppers adjustable passenger footboards.

This is a very smooth  ride it has new tires & battery. Has a hitch.i towed a small trailer. It runs great no engine problems.

SELLING AS IS - NON RUNNING. Cleaning out the garage.  This bike needs a new home.  Carbs leak but bike will run on starting fluid.  Front brake calipers don't release properly, but that may be from the bike sitting for the last 3 years.

1983 Honda Goldwing Standard This is a one owner bike that has only 26K miles on it and has always been stored inside, has been well cared for and it looks nearly like new. The paint, chrome, aluminum, plastic all look near new and it is all original. The bike is a Standard with a Hondaline faring installed at the dealership when it was brand new.

Honda Gold Wing Interstate 1100cc 1983 with 22,000 original miles, well kept, runs very well, starts up immediately, bike has full hard bags/trunk, nice original Honda seat with Honda emblem on the rear, fork seals re-done last summer, carbs tuned-up as well. has am/fm/cd with MP3/iPod input and removable face marine radio. great bike for the price!!!

Up for sale is a gorgeous garage kept 1983 Honda Goldwing GL1100 Interstate motorcycle. The bike only has 39,805 miles...considering it is over 25 years old...that is extremely low mileage for a highway bike! I purchased this earlier this year for my husband's anniversary gift; however, it poses to be too much bike for a beginner (even a large 6'2" guy was scared to touch it).
