Other All 1978 Motorcycles

This auction is for a "Pair" of AMF Roadmaster Mopeds that come from a Estate I am working on now, These (2) 1978 AMF Roadmaster Mopeds are in good running condition, AMF owned Harley Davidson when these were in production and so they had a nick name as the Harley Moped. This is the information I got off the internet about the Mopeds, These Mopeds do show usage and do have signs of age scratches and scuffs ect. see pictures, they both run great!

1978 Maico GS 400, yes this was the GS model for 1978.  The later Magnum style motor was first in GS models for 79.Motor was refreshed with intentions to ride it, but I don't have time to ride them all.  This started in 3 kicks after being stored for 3 years. I installed a new primary chain, clutch spring, kick shaft and shift shaft. New style kick lever knuckle, the gas tank was painted with period decals added, the frame has original paint.      The tail light is broken, parts missing are the headlight glass/bulb, and the chain guard.

Very nice, all original, low hour Maico 250 Magnum.  Had planned on keeping but recently lost some storage space.  Plus, after seeing another one listed for $3650 had to list this one.  Thanks.

This is a JZR Morgan supersports replica, built in the UK, there are about 35 of these in the USA, This is one of the finest I have seen! She is powered by a Honda GL500 water cooled V twin, runs and drives a dream! 5 forward gears with no reverse, the maroon paint is absolutely beautiful even though she has a few chips and scratches, she runs on chrome 15" MG wire wheels with front disc brakes, SS braided brake lines, SS exhaust with chrome mufflers, she has a wood dash and trim with aluminum accents, many custom machined aluminum parts, She draws a crowd at any car or bike show, as a matter of fact if you don't like people you had  better stay away from this trike!
