                                                                                            1990 ATK 406 MX

You are bidding to win the auction on my 1990 ATK 406 MX.   Made In The U.S.A.  The engine is a Rotax 406 c.c.'s of 2 stroke big bore Motocross power.  The ATK company was founded back in the 80's by, You can research the company on line.  Very unique bike.  The rear brake for example is actually part of the counter-shaft sprocket, which means less un spring weight.  Upside down front forks, mono shock.  The air intake is up front on the left side of the gas tank and I am still using an ATK foam filter.  The bike has its' original VIN Tag on the head stock.  The bike has been raced a few times back in the day, but not very much at all.  It has been lightly ridden ever since and mostly in the woods on trails.  (see ORV sticker).    I replaced the original pipe with a DYNO PORT pipe because the original pipe was getting a bit rusty and a bit grody, and I wanted a bit more low end grunt.  The bike runs good and really does not need anything except a front brake lever/resevoir, which I am trying to buy right now and will include with the bike IF I find one.  The chain and sprockets are pretty new and in very good shape as far as I know.  I never crashed the bike hard or modified it so it is pretty much stock.  I did replace the fenders to give it that red, white and blue look.   The original front brake resevoir and lever got broke when the bike kinda tipped over in my garage and the perch hit my welder....ooops...no other damage. INCLUDING THE OWNERS MANUAL!!! The bike is pretty darn cool if you like vintage MX bikes.  I think this one could be raced in the AHRMA but I am not sure what class.  I am 66 years old and not interested in racing any more due to 2 hip replacements and I think I had my day.  Had my fun.  Now it is time for someone else to enjoy the bike.   I put the mileage at 999 because eBay forces you to put mileage on an off-road bike just as you would in a road bike.  I am providing a Bill of Sale.  This is a racing motorcycle.  Back in the day, in Michigan, no titles were given for MX off-road motorcycles, so there never was one.  I can get the Bill of Sale Notarized if that helps you.  THANKS.  REMEMBER, PAY PAL ONLY.  YOU SEND ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IS LINKED TO YOUR PAY PAL AND I SEND YOU THE FULL INVOICE.  SIMPLE.

SHIPPING:   I do not ship vehicles,  and I am not a dealer or a mechanic.  The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for their own shipping or pick the vehicle up.  I will store the vehicle for up to 30 days.  Please try to get it picked up by then, otherwise, storage fees of $10 per day will be added to what you owe. Thanks.

PAYMENT:  Please, PAY PAL ONLY.   PLEASE MESSAGE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IS LINKED TO YOUR PAY PAL ACCOUNT WHEN YOU WIN THE BIKE SO I CAN SEND YOU THE PAY PAL INVOICE.
