Other 175 Phantom description

Up for auction a 1974 OSSA phantom 175.   Original and running great!  This model only made in 1974 is extremely rare. OSSA only manufactured around 485 of these.  The same year approx. 1600 125 models were produced and 2500 250 models were produced. I have owned the bike approximately ten years myself. The original body work is on the bike. The body work is in good to very good condition. Wheels are straight and in great condition. Bars were upgraded to period correct style. I've been running 110 leaded octane mixed with original Suzuki CCI oil in it at a ratio of 20:1. Runs fantastic as this is what these vintage bikes were made to function on. I raced it twice at VMX days in Ohio a few years back.  It ran great!  OSSA guru Alex Snoop did install a new Stator a few years ago when it lost spark..  Since then she starts 1-3 kicks every time! I did recover the seat and the tires are newer(Pirelli MT 16 front and Dunlop 756 rear).  The silencer is a Sammy Miller aftermarket I bought from Hugh's Bultaco.  The frame is nice and straight and the pipe is pretty nice too. This is a very low hour Phantom. Generally, I put minimal amount of fuel in it and ride it around my place twice a year to keep things in running order.  In the fall, its detailed(cleaned & polished) and put away until next year. Its kept in a garage out of the weather all the time and at least since I've owned it, its never seen snow or rain.

Cons: The Fuel tank holds pre-mix no problem, but has some exterior bubbling(No I don't keep gas in it after I ride it) There is a minor crack in the rear fender where the fender mount is. Not enough to hinder bike performance or be readily noticed. The engine could use a fresh coat of black engine paint.

This model is RARE, so I'm allowing for international bidding.  I would consider bringing to a shipper like forward Air for additional fees.
