              2010 BMW R1200GSA – LOADED!!   VIN:  WB1048000AZX65142   If you’re reading this ad, you probably already know that this is the granddaddy of adventure bikes and this one is truly set up to go the long-way around.  Ready yourself for the journey and in the meantime, enjoy the fall; it’s the best time to ride.    This bike is fitted with two BMW panniers, the endure transmission and the premium package.  The only items that I know of that are not on the cycle are electronic traction control and tire-gauge monitors.  The Electronic Suspension (ESA) is incredible, as are the heated grips, especially in the spring and fall.  To top it off, this bike has the 110hp BMW engine; two camshafts and four radially aligned valves per cylinder.  I’ve owed two other boxers and there is no comparison in performance.    The bike has been serviced by a tech in our local BMW club, a BMW junkie and one of the best techs that I know. He is employed at our local Harley Davison dealership where he does all of their metric bike work, so I just take my bike there.  I have all of the records and all components are BMW.  This bike has been serviced more than suggested by BMW.  With just over 19,000 miles on it, it’s had seven oil changes, four final drive and transmission changes, brake fluid change, air filter, new spark plugs and on and on.  The last full service was performed on 9/11/2013 at 17,927 miles and this included a new set of Metzler Torrence tires.  Bike has always been garaged and kept in great condition.    Now for the “farkles” that I’ve added; over three grand worth excluding the installation cost on many of them.  I was surprised at how little some of the key areas of the bike are not factory protected; this one is truly ready for the Alaskan run.

    Up for bids is a 1980 BMW R100RT 1000cc boxer sport touring twin.  This machine was brought into our shop for an oil change by a customer who had just purchased it.  Sadly, the customer died while the bike was here......it wasn't here THAT long.   Has had the following done recently within 20 miles or so: New Dunlop D404 tires & tubes;  100/90/19 front;  110/90/18 rear;  $301.00 combined retail New Brown (brand) side stand; $160 retail Oil & filter change;  $45.00 combined retail New aftermarket wind screen We looked over the bike quickly in order to prepare for selling it.  It needs:  Rear shocks shot.....will INCLUDE a believed to be good used pair off the same model Rear brake disc and left front brake disc are worn Will need a battery but we jumped it and were able to ride the machine Seems to run and drive OK, engine sounds good Krauser bags in decent shape, but WILL NOT FIT because the mufflers have been changed to aftermarket and they're too high We have the lower center fairing piece that is missing in the picture.  The bike also has a Reynolds ride-off centerstand and a Reynolds rear rack with Krauser trip trunk.  We also have the original right-hand inner fairing pocket lid.  Has aftermarket pocket lids.  Had a radio in the left pocket at one time and there is a hole drilled in the fairing for an antenna. The bike has a lot of scuffs and scratches, but nothing major is broken.     1999 BMW R1200C nice shape 21000 mile runs great,daily rider so mileage may change.the bike is in good shape and needs a good cleaning,but will do that this week end .Im just driving it to work this week and then I'll take care of that.It hase a few scuffs on the top of the bag lids Also the small bar that supports the blinker has lost its finish on the right side.I dont know why but see photo's of both the bags and the blinker support.There are a few small chips on the frame.It has good tires with about 80 % thread. every thing works as it should.The bike is not black it is a verry verry dark purple or what ever they call purple these days. This bike is a 1999 and is in good shape but not show room so please look at photo's good and ask any questions you need.

    The Bike is in overall great condition, the ABS light does flash until its button is pushed or both brakes are engaged at the same time. I'm told this is normal.The bike does come with the optional saddlebags and trunk/passenger backrest.All servicing for this motorcycle has been done by Hermy's BMW in Port Clinton .PA and with the Vin number they can verify all services are up too date for it, as I am the second owner. I have only put 1100 miles on it since purchase due to deployments , but rode it this morning and everything is fine with it.The bike is for local pickup only and will sign over title upon payment and pickup.It's a great bike , I just can't afford 2 bikes anymore.

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. If you didn’t already notice, Kevin Schwantz has a full plate this year. At 50 years young, the 1993 500cc World Champion will be competing at the prestigious Suzuka 8-Hours in a few weeks, and he’s followed that up with the announcement he will be making his Goodwood Revival debut during the September 12-14 event on an iconic Manx Norton ‘Featherbed’. Schwantz, last raced on UK soil during the 1994 British 500cc Grand Prix at Donington Park, but will tackle the daunting Goodwood Motor Circuit this year in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy, which will be run for bikes of 1951-54 period.
