Norton Commando 750 description

Let me begin by saying I really don't want to sell this motorcycle. I bought this with the full intention of keeping it until I was too old and feeble to ride anymore. Unfortunately, due to financial reasons I have to part with it.

What we have here is a genuine 1969 Norton Commando "S" model. I have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears not to mention boatloads of cash to get it where it is. Parts were re-chromed, new front rim re-laced with SS spokes. I could probably go through my receipts and list everything that was replaced or re-chromed but by the time I did that I would want to hang up!

The original contact breaker points have been replaced with a Power Arc 2 map curve electronic ignition. The original contact breaker will be included.

It has the original FB fuel tank that has been sealed with Caswell sealer. The seat is the correct beaver tail seat that I sourced from Burton's Bike bits in the UK. The rear tail light holder is the original FB metalflake piece.

The tank and side covers have been painted in the closest to the original "Fireflake Red" I could find. For those purists you might notice that the front fender is not the original. I have the original fender but due to tire choise "Avon Super Venoms" it would foul under heavy braking.

The only negative I could say about the bike is it looks like someone repaired the transmission case with JB Weld at some point in it's lif. It doesn't leak and never bothered me so I consider it a non issue but wanted to mention for the sake of full disclosure.

The numbers all match and fall early in the "S" model build range...actually making this one # 385 out of approximately 3,800 built during it's 2 year run.

The only trades I would consider would be of the 4 wheel drive variety. Trucks, SUV's, or Zombie Apocalypse survival vehicles.

I will assist with the buyers shipper to arrange pickup.

Scheduled for release next year, the V4SV is powered by a 1,200cc V-4-cylinder engine, developed in-house.

The Rotary Racebike Is Back With The Crighton Racing CR700P – Video

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

Here are the facts: 200 hp, 100 ft.-lbs, and 700cc. If you’re guessing what engine is capable of producing numbers like this, you’re probably looking in the wrong direction. No, this isn’t coming from a piston engine, but a rotary.

Norton has announced a stylish scrambler

Sun, 08 Jul 2018

The boss of the British brand, Stuart Garner, published images of a promising model on his Twitter. Norton's Atlas and P11 scramblers from the sixties will have an heir! The 650 Atlas Scrambler, based on the same models from the past, still exists in virtual reality and is content only with the status of a concept.
