1972 NORTON 750 COMMANDO Proper NUMBERS MATCHING. Bike shows 13,XXXX original miles but engine is far from stock. Beautiful, reliable, tight, vintage British motorcycle! Paint is perfect. Bike runs, rides and shifts EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! NO SMOKE, LEAKS or ISSUES WHATSOEVER. Starts on 1 kick every time. FAST, FAST MACHINE! Specs: * Steel braided oil lines and brake lines *Automatic camchain adjuster *Balanced/rebuilt engine .040" pistons with less than 500 mi. all new bearings *Manx style seat *Belt primary drive (Smooooooth clutch) *Rearsets (1 down/3up) *Japanese switches with master cylinder (better bore for better front braking) *Steering dampener *Hi output (3 phase) alternator *Strengthened/modified engine cradle support *36 mm. Mikuni carburetor conversion *Halogen HI/LO headlight conversion (HUGE improvement over Lucas) Clear INDIANA title (to me) in hand. Bike is licensed and insured to me. This is my personal motorcycle. I just spent the day on it and clocked 230 miles without 1 single issue. Bike always performs perfectly and dependable, I am passionate about it. This is more of a "Hot Rod" with riding/performance upgrades rather than a "Restoration". A purist will spend far too much time picking it apart rather than riding and enjoying it. Bonhams Auctions 1966 Norton Manx For $100K
Tue, 22 Oct 2013The top selling model of Bonhams annual sale of collectors’ motorcycles, a 1966 Norton 350cc Manx prepared by legendary tuner Francis Beart and raced by Joe Dunphy and Keith Heckles, fetched a whopping $100,481 last Sunday. The auction price more than doubled the top selling estimate and set a new world record for a Manx sold at auction. Eighty percent of the 436 lots offered sold at the auction totaling $2,168,314 Hot on its heels came the technological marvel from an earlier era that produced the sale’s best result when the 250cc Moto Morini Grand Prix racer from the 1960s fetched $145,081. The Molnar Norton Manx, prepared and entered by Fred Walmsley for the late World Champion Barry Sheene, sold for $89,490.
Norton Signs Cameron Donald to Race Isle of Man TT
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Norton Motorcycles has signed two-time TT winner Cameron Donald to a three-year contract to race in the Isle of Man TT. Donald will ride the Norton SG3 sportbike in the Dainese Superbike and PokerStars Senior TT classes, starting both races seeded 19th. That matches the number of the late Steve Hislop, the last Norton rider to win on the Isle of Man with a victory in the 1992 Senior TT race.

Fri, 12 Nov 2021The Solihull company announced nothing less than the beginning of a new era of British motorcycle construction. And the symbol of the beginning of this era will be the Norton V4SV sportbike, presented at once in two versions: Manx and Carbon. Scheduled for release next year, the V4SV is powered by a 1,200cc V-4-cylinder engine, developed in-house.
