2006 Moto Guzzi Breva V 1100, There's a southerly wind blowing... next stop Lake Como!Moto Guzzi's big Breva is a bike that manages to blend a traditional layout and character with style, comfort and performance to create the factory's best and most advanced roadster yet. Guzzi's age-old, 1064cc 90-degree air-cooled engine format is retained in the big Breva, complete with pushrods and two valves per cylinder. There's a new six-speed gearbox routing power to a drive-shaft that runs inside the single-sided aluminum swingarm in a new drive system designed to increase rigidity and eliminate shaft-induced suspension movement. The Breva loves to change direction and is uncannily easy to turn, with a sharp turning radius and steering that feels much lighter than it has a right to. This Breva 1100 recently had a major service so it is ready for the open road. There are a few scuffs and scrapes (shown in photos) in keeping with a bike with 20K miles. Tue, 05 Nov 2019Announced at EICMA 2020, Moto Guzzi has unveiled the V85 TT, a touring-oriented version of the popular V85 adventure bike made up of items plucked from the Moto Guzzi parts catalog – not that that’s a bad thing. Up front, a higher touring windscreen offers greater protection from the wind, thanks to a surface area 60% larger than the standard V85 screen. Out back you’ve got two panniers, capable of holding a ton of stuff – 37 liters for the right case (big enough for a full-face helmet) and 27.5 liters for the left – both lockable with the same key.
