Moto Guzzi CA description

1999 California 1100, I bought this bike in 2007 and it only had 1200 miles. This Cycle was adult owned and garaged because the previous owner's wife wouldn't let him ride after their baby was born. I'm a 66 year old Oklahoma University football fan, and most of the miles I put on it, was when I rode to away games. It was last rode to the Tennessee game in 2015. It's been rode to Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas State, Baylor, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. Also some home games. It's been on a few bike runs locally.  This cycle has always ran perfect, and I've never had any mechanical problems. I honestly hate to sell this beautiful cycle, but due to health and economic conditions, it has to find a good home. The Motorcycle was laid down at slow speed nearly 4 years ago causing some minor cosmetic damages. I got it repaired at the Moto Guzzi dealer in Kansas. There, they put on a new windshield, clutch lever, front fender and new Givi saddle bags. I have always kept the cycle well maintained and had the oil changed at 3,000 miles. Another oil change is due again soon, I'll include a new filter and oil. There is a scratch on both the saddle bag and windshield, since it's been in my overcrowded garage. Current Oklahoma Tag. Delivery possible to some locations. call 405-837-2279 if there is any questions you have. Prior to purchasing my Moto Guzzi, I had owned a Honda Goldwing, and a Yamaha 1100 Special. They don't compare to the feel and performance of the Moto Guzzi. In my honest opinion, definitely one of the greatest bikes made.

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.

Moto Guzzi Revives V7 in US

Mon, 05 Jan 2009

If contemporary society has taught us anything, it is that few things are held as sacred. Shameless film and television remakes are rampant while musicians sample (steal) any beats or mixes they deem suitable that will gain their crumby creation attention. In regards to motorcycles, there are times when retro-inspired modern engineered creations work, like the Triumph Thruxton for instance.

Church of MO: 2009 Moto Guzzi Griso 8V SE Review

Sun, 08 Dec 2019

When I was 49, it was a very good year for long-legged bikes of independent means who lived under the stairs, with all those perfumed valves. We’d ride through the night, and the tank was green. Now I think of this Guzzi as vintage wine from fine old kegs, from the shaft drive to the dregs.
